Practical guides for everyday value

THE PUBLICATION

Privacy and language preferences

A description of the information used when you read these guides or contact us.

Effective October 10, 2026. This notice covers the Central de Cupom website at centraldecupom.com and its hosted preview. The contact address for the publication and privacy requests is contato@centraldecupom.com.

What happens when a page opens

The hosting service receives information needed to deliver and protect the website. That can include an IP address, requested address, time, browser information and security-related records. The website uses the country or territory associated with the request to choose a default language at a language-neutral entry address. It does not need a precise location or a browser location permission.

The language decision is made through the hosting platform's request metadata. The site's own code does not send your IP address to an external geolocation lookup service or maintain a visitor-location database. Technical logs, security systems and any private-preview sign-in are managed by the hosting provider under its own arrangements.

Your language choice

If you select English or Português, the website records en or pt in a first-party cookie called cc_language and in a browser-local preference called cc-language. The preference is designed to last up to one year and lets your own choice take precedence over the geographic default. You can remove it through your browser's site-data controls or select the other language.

The preference contains a language value and, in local storage, an expiry time. It is not an advertising identifier. If storage is blocked, the language links still work, but the choice may not persist. Direct links to an English or Portuguese page remain available.

Search stays on the page

The guide-directory search filters the titles and descriptions already loaded in your browser. The site's code does not submit your search terms to a server, create a search history or connect them to a visitor profile. This edition has no advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts, reader accounts or newsletter form.

When you email

Your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send are processed by the email services involved in delivery and storage. We use the message to consider your query, review a correction, respond where appropriate or address a privacy matter. Please disclose only what is relevant.

Correspondence is retained as needed for the issue, relevant records and applicable obligations. The appropriate period depends on the purpose and circumstances. Service providers have their own arrangements for logs and backups, so removal of an active message may not immediately remove every backup copy.

Hosting, security and email providers may process information in countries other than your own. Information may also need to be disclosed when required by applicable law or necessary to protect the service. The publication does not sell personal information or use it for cross-site targeted advertising. External source websites follow their own privacy practices when you visit them.

Requests and changes

Depending on your location and the rules that apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or other action regarding your information, or to contact an appropriate supervisory authority. Email the publication with enough context to locate the matter; proportionate verification may be needed. Do not attach identification documents to an initial request.

The site is written for adults and does not knowingly seek children's personal information. Contact us if a child has sent information so the matter can be reviewed. No electronic service can guarantee absolute security. If the website's information practices change, this notice will be updated with a revised effective date.
